Basically, this build is my crown jewel. Port onto them, frost nova, blink back, and blizzard away. Follow with frost nova then mirror image and rinse and repeat. Ray of Frost can be spammed in between everything as it is free to cast.

Lightning damage with high synergy makes for a shockingly fun build:

- Hydra is your main Arcane dump
- Use Electrocute to rapidly regain Arcane energy
- Use Shock Pulse on enemies with low HP
- Teleport in emergencies
- Familiar and Storm Armor up at all times

I go for cd reduction. This is a short range wizard that relies on crits to reduce the cd of frost nova and diamond skin. When everything goes perfect I can aoe down huge amounts of enemies with meteor. I almost always have diamond skin and frost nova up. Enemies can’t touch me. Int + crit chance.

It could be very useful for farming!
You have to cast very fast, and thats why I put the spells in the right order so just hit the buttons 2,3,4.
Step by Step:
1. Cast Diamond Skin
2. Port into the enemies
3. hit buttons 2,3,4 on keybord
4. Port back
5. Regain mana with Magiv missle and pasiv

This is my melee build.
It’s focalized on avoid damage by wearing a shield and armors with dextrery. Get shields with 20 % + block rating to have the most success. I play this on abyss , with success.

I passed the game in normal mode destroying everything fast without any problem with this build, you just have to go inside all the mobs, use diamond skin, then explosive blast, spam arcane orbs and finish with wave of force if necesary. If you got decent gear every single mob will be pulverized.

Living lightning hits so many mobs that it refreshes both your frost nova and archon at an incredible rate. You can switch to glass cannon/magic weapon-electrify for futher improved results but only switch to that dps build when you have a decent tank.

Consistently damage enemies +20% max damage via Cold Blooded passive skill. Magic missile seeks enemies and grants arcane power on hits. Arcane Dynamo and Frost Nova add to overall damage bonus. Ice Armor provides a cheap surround spell to use almost constantly. Finish them w/ Ray of Frost.

This is a good build for kiting, has some Good dps and survive-ability.

DPS Arcane Powerhouse is a build I’ve been using lately after hitting 60. This build assumes you are playing multiplayer do to it’s short list of survival passives (Unstable Anomaly is the only one). Have fun killing everything that moves!

Similar to Wiz’s Mass Meteor but with more survivability — Duplicates + Illusionist will save your butt and delay your enemies long enough to nuke them. This build is a lot of fun!

Use blizzard to slow mobs so meteor shower will impact them, Keep acid hydra up for added DPS

Build for boss slaying, mainly revolving around Ray of Frost. Freeze/chill the enemy, use Diamond Skin and blast away with Ray of Frost. Teleport to a safe distance, use Shock Pulse (or Magic Missile) to gain AP and do it again. Arcane Orb if necessary. Change Frost Nova’s rune for lower level usage

Designed around using Ray of Frost (Cold Blood) as the signature spell. Allows virtually unlimited AP. Best for Nightmare (solo or group). Not yet tested in Hell or Inferno.

Use RoF for single targets; use Diamond Skin and Disintegrate for everything else.

In a fight u cast Mirror Image and Diamond Skin, Diamond Skin will absorb DMG. Second Step cast Hydra, Hydra will make AE DMG and Dots. Then spam Disintegrate.
Watch out for Diamond Skin and Mirror Image every time it is CD, cast it.

High crit and attack speed gear allows for constant frost nova/diamond skin spam. Use frost nova/slow time combo for High burst aoe damage to kill large groups quickly.

Create havoc in the middle of a fight with armor and shock pulse attacks, while quickly being able to travel away from danger and punish enemies with ranged attacks. Use diamond skin, storm armor, shock pulse, and wave of force up close. Then, teleport, disintigrate. Rinse and repeat.

Just check this build out, kinda defensive, but its good enought to tank some dmg at Inferno, using it right now. Well why like that?
Simple spawn your hydra to slow down mobs to keep them far from you, then just dps and when they come use Skin or tele. So simple right?

Wynn3r’s melee wizard a bit modified:

Does decent DPS from a distance. Slow enemies by spamming Blizzard while your Venom Hydra drags their health down. Finish them off with long-distance Seeker Magic Missles.

This is a plain and simple full-on Arcane build.
You can switch your Arcane orb for Energy Twister or a Star Pact Meteor, depending on what you fancy. Temporal flux slows all enemies so you can basically kill anything before it comes too close. You’re welcome…

This is centered around the distruption sigil for arcane torrent. Everything you do is arcane damage and is buffed. It’s no good for soloing or pvp, but if you get with others doing arcane damage and have a monk or barbarian this will melt the faces off mobs. Hydra+Slowtime+Torrent+Archon. Bye bye!

This build focuses on what the title says. The damage is pretty good because of Chaos Nexus and Penetrating blast. The idea is you get them low, Frost Nova and Disintegrate causing large packs of mobs to freeze themselves over and over. Arcane Missile, Frost Nova and Teleport runes are player choice

This is a build for Wizard that play inferno+
It’s not easy you have to focus into intellect and RUN FROM THE ENEMY the rest is up to the idra and the meteor.

Overall this build is meant to do the most dammage as possible. Arcane Torrent decimates large crowds, creating chain after chain of Arcane bolts. The piercing orb is a back up. The venom hydra does an amazing amount of dammage. The frost storm is crowd controle. Diamond skin is a life savor.

Defensive build with good damage output. AoE dmg, single target dmg, snare, duplicate, reflect dmg and snare, absorb damage, health regeneration, and top it off with cool down reductions.

Hydra and arcane orb as dps. ALWAYS MOVE. Gear is all out vitality and dps, movement speed on boots. Cheap gear cause you will not need resists/armor at all! Energy armor and familiar keep you alive for atleast 3 hits, while crystal skin is on CD. Frost nova could be exchanged for magic weapon.

This build specializes on blasting from a distance. But if the enemy comes close (which they will sometimes), they will be frozen, blasted and you won’t even feel a thing! Keep up you buffs, and I assure you that everything will be fine! =D

My actual build for 2 act. Main attack is blizzard (for slowing mobs) and hydra supported by frost ray. For survability use energy armor and teleport with illusionist.

Relies on high armor and resistances along with a decent amount of critical hit chance, life on hit, and life regeneration to be an immovable force against the legions of hell. This is not a kiting build. You will, for the most part, stand in one place, laying waste to everything around you.

This build focuses on Crit Chance and Arcane power on crit. Vital shouldnt be needed as you shouldnt take damage with diamond skin. All resistance would be beneficial to help diamond skin protect more. Twister everything to keep your diamond skin and explosive blast about to be used every 0.5 second

Twisters proc “critical mass” (passive) more then any other skill. Allowing the constant use of skills with cool downs: wave of force, time warp, frost nova, diamond skin, explosive blast, even Archon mode!

You throw out Blizzard and rapid cast venom hydra (You need at least a casting speed of 1.75 or higher to cast them almost instantaneously) then stay back and cast your primary attack for extra DPS is you have the room to do so, make sure to keep magic weapon and energy armor up at all times as well

Use blizzard and stack as many times as you can then use hyra to make aoe pool were they are frozen. Then blast away at them with lighing you can use shock Pulse or Lighting Blast. you can use port to kite but i like the armor to stand my ground to let the aoe do the job.

arcane hydra and temporal flux combine with all of the lightning ways to damage combined with paralysis slow them while you get the speed enhancement from scramble, the teleport with fracture and the diamond skin for survivability….while lightning and arcane destroy them all…works for mp 5 solo

This build revolves around dealing long range damage consistently, with supplemental skills to keep enemies away, and archon form for spikes in damage.

Devastate Nearby Enemies.

With this build you dominate enemies closing in with AOE spells with Slow Time maximizing your damage. Lightning Blast and Storm Armor were added to take care of ranged attackers.

The point of the build is to engage a large packs of mobs, freeze them to gain the crit buff (in addition to Pinpoint Barrier) and nuke away. Numerous AoE crits should enable more frequent use of Frost Nova and Diamond Skin to ensure survival in close quarters.

Lots of synergy with lightning damage dealing stuns and recharging AP, and arcane damage snaring and spending AP. Cast Energy Twister x3, Electrocute to replenish AP and release a 4th ET. Rinse and repeat! Should provide good stuns/snares with WoF and Slow Time as defensive/strategic cooldowns.

Pretty much put’s the frost mage from WoW to Diablo 3. This build has a Blink, Frost Nova with damage addition, time ward slow with damage addition, “Ice Lance”, Frostbolt (although with a heavy AP cost) and Ice Armor that is the same as Frost Armor. You will own. It’s OP

Throw back to 2nd ed D&D. TP in a group of Mobs, nova, then spam uncontrollable spells. Focus on high damage with high risk.

Ray of Frost and Chilling Armor (which should always be on) are used to slow the enemies, while Frost Nova and Blizzard will freeze them to increase dps and completely slow the enemy, Mirror Image should be active when facing mobs.

first you transform into improved archon, summon the familliar(Sparkflint) and after attack with wave of force that knocks back and slows enemies of movement by 60% then you summon arcane hydra which is also slows enemies by 30% because of temporal flux and in the end you attack with aracane skills

It’s a balanced PvP build with both offensive and defensive spells. Deal arcane damage and slow the enemies down by Temporal Flux. Deal even more damage by Disturption. Protect yourselves with Galvanizing Ward and Diamond Skin. Teleport to health globes or to safety.

Spectral Blade + Familiar gives Arcane Power.
Use the Arcane for mass Explosive Blasts, and keep Energy Armor/Magic Weapon up at all times. Diamond Skin is for bossing.

As for passives, Galvanizing Ward and Blur give more survivability and Paralysis mixed with Magic Weapons mod is for CC.

Teleport in. Drop Nova then time bomb with stacked bonus damage from Bone chill, cold blooded and Chilling aura. Use reversal to get out. Drop Blizzard in survivors path and spam free ray of frost to recover.

Lets see, arcane regen with any damage dealt. Zero casting cost of ray of frost + slow. Tele with massive amounts of illusions. They get too close wave force them away + tele them. Also summon helpers that will regen arcane as well. If you do get hit at 15% of your life mirror image and tele reset

Basic scenario:
- go to pack of mob
- Deep freeze (+15% crit)
- Wave of force
- Kill the remaining with ray of frost
- Prism+wormhole to the next pack

If case of trouble, use archon or port out

Notice that if you crit 10 mobs (likely with the +15%, you can spam wave of force)

Nearly free casts of Ray of Frost and an AP dump of Comet, possibility of chaining frost novas when in trouble. Familiar and Storm armor always up for obtaining AP. Diamond skin doubles as a defensive maneuver and active AP regen. Possible only with 1.00 attack speed aka Staffs

Use Slow Time defensively with Wave of Force to keep melee attackers away and reflect projectiles. Disintegrate and Explosive Blast both have runes which increase damage and can work together to pin and corner foes. This build relies heavily on high weapon dps, but will be viable in PvP/PvM.

Buff yourself up with armor, familiar, mage weapon. Throw 3-5 orbs and run, or kitty bosses. If in big trouble teleport away.

- Great single target & AOE dmg (155% main beam + 40% rune’s beam = 195% dmg with AOE)

Survivability Skills:
- Frost Nova when they’re close

Ok. Pretty cookie-cutter Disintegrate(DI) build.
-DI is your arcane dump
-Use Electrocute and Prodigy for quick recharge.
-Open with DI and DS. Once the timer on DS is done just FN and circle the mob.

Running Lv 36 Act 2 (Nightmare) with this build at time of writing. Works well so far

Play as a deadly melee combat in safe mode: Before rush, launch a Meteor and when strike use: Ice Armor + Explosive Blast + Diamond Skin. Assure extra damage and safe mode for 3 Sec. Atack with Spectral Blade and kill in less than 5 sec. This is a safe and very strong convination. 370 Int + 120 Vit

This build is High dmg/AoE oriented, ive been using it almost the whole time while leveling with my mates. You might die some times but when you dont, you do massive dmg.

You drop down hydra then just melt them down with Disintegrate, and if u need the extra dmg just pop Archon.

The whole purpose of this build is to be able to pump out large numbers, while maintaining a decent amount of survivability. The synergy of the rune selection means that you have almost unlimited arcane power to spam your core nukes, Arcane Barrage and Disintegrate.

This build is a awesome mob killer. Currently using it in nightmare and its way too easy atm. Archon is there to kill elites,champions and bosses. Very high dps. Evocation is there just to reduce the cooldown of diamond skin so by the time diamond skin runs out, the cooldown is nearly finished.

this build does massive damage, use electrocute to build arcane dynamo charges, and get AP back. at 5 stacks unleash disintegrate, or go archon for bosses. the first beam will get the dynamo buff for all its ticks. use mirror image to stay alive and to extend your beam time on a full stack.

working with my build and works on inferno untill they nerfed the Energy Armor from 35% damage to 100% damage so now I get one hitted again changed it then from force to prismatic

The last four skills (familiar magic weapon, lightning blast, and Arcane Orb) are crucial to it’s success. The preference of the player comes into question on the first two: If you feel that you have no problems surviving, drop force armor for arcane tap. Also, hydra and archon can be swapped.

This build revolves around the passive “Critical Mass”. You want to try to stack a lot of critical strike chance so it works. Every time you land a crit, you have the chance to refresh your cooldowns which allow you to spam diamond skin and your other AOE abilities. Using it in Hell mode right now!

Use Energy Armour and Diamond Skin when mobs approach, put down Blizzard, Hydra and then Blast Electrocute at enemies in a line. Very fun and safe build, can stand still blasting anything aside from strong groups of elites, they will require a bit of kiting when Diamond Skin is down.

Just finished solo inferno. You need a lot of kite, poke skills. The Best of them are Hydra, Blizzard, Orb. Hydra + Blizzard works much better than with Orb. Blizzard slows or stuns enemy in pool of acid from venom hydra. It deals huge damge while you can keep avoiding enemy hits.

Aim for at least 20k hp, 20k dps, and 200 resist all unbuffed. Keep up your buffs and kite when anything gets close using hydra to chip away their health. Certain rarechamp packs (fast+invuln minions comes to mind) will still be a major hassel and can just be skipped. Enjoy :)

A melee poison PvP build. The goal is to buff the character with diamond skin and magic weapon, teleport in close (two decoys distract the player), frost nova to increase damage and slow attack speed, and then strike with spectral cuts (poisoning). Once diamond skin breaks, teleport back away.

The idea behind this build is you can kite enemies with arcane + 30% slow. Hit diamond skin, teleport in for free, do some major dmg with you’re 3 seconds of cheap spells and teleport out and continue to kite. If you get hit no worries, you have the +65% armor energy shield + 890 health/sec.

On this build you will fight in close range attacking with spectral blade. You need lots of critical chance, so you can keep healing yourself and reduce CD’s, then you can spam Diamond Skin, frost nova and Explosive Blast.

Build depends on Energy armor with reduction dmg. Since every hit can hit only for 35% of your hp and mobs on inferno lvl can hit a wizard for over 20k it makes vitality useless and you can focus on high dmg only. Other skills profits from Energy armor. Just use blizzard whenever needed and BOOM.

Primarily uses ray of frost (free to cast), magic missile generates 8 arcane power to refill quick. Frost nova spam from frost nova with shatter rune and ice armor with ice reflect rune. Using meteor and explosion to clear groups of ‘frozen/slow’ enemies. Passive skills make it a bit more frosty :)
