This build focuses on high AOE damage from firebombs, corpse explosion acid cloud, and an almost never ending stream of suicide zombie dogs. Hex with unstable form allows for CC and more ‘splosions, and soul siphon with swallow your soul keeps your mana up.

This build has been for my brand new 60, I have low resistance, and low gear. Like many of you, I can not deal with some of the FAST mobs, so I created a build that now I can do all of act 1 – 4 and its a charm!

A pretty much pet-less build that is built for dps and Survivorbility . Big Bad Voodoo is pretty much an I win button – Letting you spam dire bats continuously for great dps. I loved pets alot – but found this build to be alot better for me in nightmare.

Works for solo and groups. Keep all skills on CD and spam bears. MC works great on groups and pesky elites. Voodoo will let you spam bears continuously. Watch as act bosses die in seconds.

The thing is, for the dogs to work properly in Hell mode, Witch Doctors MUST go into a mass life regeneration + thorns build. This is essentially making full use of the passive skill, Fierce Loyalty. With 950 life restored every second, my summons survive really well in Hell mode.

This build is focused on keeping a distance and kiting mobs using ‘Grasp Of The Dead’. Keep your dots up, if you get low on health use ‘Spirit Walk’ to run through the mobs and drop Devour. I’ve tried many builds and this one seems to work the best for me.

Built to deal a lot of damage and keep as many critters on the field. Continuously popping in the Garg means seeing him hulk out often. Keep your distance and pepper with over powered splinters (great with the attack speed buff) and unleash an infinite wave of bears when the enemies get too close.

Cast your dogs and giant and use the now cooler GoD followed by Acid Cloud on incoming groups and then throw firebombs while they walk around in the muck getting hit for all sorts of damage.

Let your pets tank while you cast GoD and spam Rain of Toads. Use Spirit Walk+ Soul Harvest when you need to regain HP quick/escape, spirit vessel should save your butt. Pierce the veil is cause of the reduced mana consumption of rain of toads in 1.0.4. Enjoy. ;D

Don’t think this would work real well solo, but if you are in a group it works wonders.
Basically you keep at least 4 of your skills on a cool down so you get 300% mana regen from the passive and just spam bats (or your ability of choice for days)

Massive aoe build. Keep abilities on cooldown, resummon pets if you need to keep vision quest up. Lob Blob spam mixed with your pets will do a good enough job keeping mobs off you, so take zombie wall for extra damage as opposed to GotD. Spirit walk for extra escape, and let the boogers flow!

Get % chance to Freeze or stun r the best with % fear helm build tankish with armor all resist and life regen. you pets will surround and CC everything almost 100% even bosses. for freeze. Loyalty passive allows spirit walk heal to heal pets as well. and the fire bomb ground passive Procs the CC.

Combination of 2 of the more popular WD builds for inferno, the pet cc build and the visionquest/bears build. What’s not to like?

Pets freeze/stun (with appropriate gear) enemies to oblivion. You mow them down quickly with bears. Enemies don’t live long enough to kill your pets.

Lots of pets. Stay out of trouble. Mix in huge DPS with Zombie Bears. Use Toad Affinity when your mana is low (or whatever primary free mana attack you like). My fav current build for my HC Witch Doctor… Horrify helps pets & yourself. Spam that a lot. Be sure to stack life regen for your pets.

Thats a very effective build that makes Really High DPS.
First of all you have to pull mobs with Acid Cloud, after this, use Spirit Walk and buff yourself with Harvest, use ZBears and mobs will disappear,use flash fire to recover mana or when you are in a range combat, they will also do high dps.

By casting Haunt on a few targets in the start of the fight you’ll ensure that you have a decent mana reg during the rest of the fight, also thanks to the passive skills you won’t run out of mana, this gives a “mage” feeling to it. Only tried it for a short time, I’m sure it can be improved.

This is built around a fast attack speed. It has no pets and itsbuilt for evasive non pet nuking.

The tactic here is to just pop cooldowns when theyre up to keep vision quest on. Usually I might hang on to the Fetish Army cd for big packs since you only need 4 things. Great stutter step damage (Step, bat, step, bat…), and keep a grasp down in front of the mobs youre kiting.

This petless build works best in AoE situations but can be useful for kiting single targets as well. The idea is to snare mobs and spam Acid Rain and Phantasm, while keeping up Devouring Swarm for mana, and using Ghost Bomb for potshots when you can’t stay in one place.

This build hinges on atkspd gear. With high atkspeed, you can spam triple darts quickly and kite very well. My usual method is to grasp, get close enough to get off a good Harvest and then darting out, perhaps with Spirit Walk, and bombing bats down on the mobs. Attack speed helps a ton when kiting as you can easily through a grasp in front of you and run through it. Fetish Army is for bosses or irritating elites, and works well to choke a crowded hallway and keep the mobs on the other side too.

This is the build i have been running on inferno acts 1 and 2. Its a mana friendly burst and damage over time spec… you can pick whichever damage spells you want really, but keep the hex jinx spell active at all time (the party will love you when it comes to the elites it keeps them under control)

This build is focused on the Zombie Charger skill with Zombie Bears rune. Use Bouncing Skulls and Spirit Walk to gain mana via Vision Quest. I recommend focusing your gear around life per hit to keep you alive while spamming bears up close!

Utilizes summons and rain of frogs to keep your distance and your mana up. I like to use Spirit Walk to dart into a group and soul harvest them for the added int. Takes my damage from like 39k dps to 50k dps. The only problems I have had is when certain elites destroy my summons but its rare.

This is a fear on hit build and high DPS build. Basically you need a fear on hit weapon but once you do it’s all over. Just trust me.

I use this set up in inferno,able to do act 3 mp1 with ease, after you have alright max mana/regen items.
You start off a fight by putting up and keeping up your spirit barrage while then using bats after infecting them w/ locust. The other 3 spells are their to increase damage and keep you alive.

Strategy is to use your dogs and gargantuan for distraction along with mass confusion and spirit walk for defense and vampire bats and paralyzing spiders for offense. Combined with the passive that increases your mana regen by 300% you can dish out some pretty nasty dmg while keeping ur health up.

Idea: the bears are the spammable spell with the most damage. They do cost a lot of mana, so we’ll use the Vision Quest talent to get tha mana back.

If you need mana from spamming Acid Cloud, switch out Haunt for Spirit Walk with mana regen. Or Soul Harvest’s mana rune. If you want more single-target for bosses or elites, swap Firebomb for Poison Dart (Splinters). This is just a basic AoE build I use, I swap things around a lot. Like WoZ for CC.

Run into middle of mob, soul harvest, spirit walk away, throw in a zombie tower, some Acid Clouds, then make it rain. The mass confusion is a wild card. Switch it out for another disable or a damage, just remember to make sure it has a cooldown for your Spiritual Attunement passive. Rinse and repeat

Optimized for solo play, build around kiting and escaping any situation. This build level is 45 so right around Inferno and focuses on slowing/movement impairing abilities. There are some upgrades that can be done to some in the following 15 levels, but you need to get there first

This build is easy to use hard to master, you have 5 cd spells and you want to keep 4 always on so you get the vision quest, it does ridiculous aoe damage and you can spam bears non stop. Currently using it with great success in act 1 of inferno. Your biggest issue is mortar/fast mobs and ranged.

The thing is, for the dogs to work properly in Hell mode, Witch Doctors MUST go into a mass life regeneration + thorns build. This is essentially making full use of the passive skill, Fierce Loyalty. With 950 life restored every second, my summons survive really well in Hell mode.

This build was worked and reworked by running through solo hell mode. It gives good cc and aoe with GoD and bats, without sacrificing too much single target. The way i played this build was by lasing down my cc and kiting around. Throwing down voodoo and going into spirit walk save your live. Try it

You can use whatever for the primary and secondary, but they shouldn’t have cool downs and they should use lots of mana and be very powerful…drop all action bar skills so their cool-down is in effect and then unload with unlimited mana for at least 15 secs from vision quest. OP ;^) LADY WD’S ROCK!

I felt the Watch doctor build was a little lacking in “oh crap their on me” fighting. So I dropped the Big Bad Voodoo for the Bats.

Let your pets tank, they will die a lot but that is alright because you need to keep the cooldowns up at all times.
Use bears when then enemys are piled up, and use darts when your just trying to get one from running away.

So this build is a low level build. That you pretty much trap the enemies in your aoe. And trow masses of leaping spiders at them. Ron hates spiders an so will your enemies.

This is a great build for a WD tank. At the time of writing, I have a lvl 52 WD with 30k HP, 2k Armor, and 2.5k base damage. So keep that in mind. For play, just run in, pop off SW, SH, Hex, and BBV. Keep them all on cool down. Spam Toads and Barrage. The more enemies around you, the better.

The most important skill in this build is Vision quest. You always have to keep your 4 cooldowns. You do a lot of damage with the bears, and you are able to refill your life every 15 seconds. To work well you probably need an items with mana regeneration, so that you can spam the bears long enough.

The key is to make full use of Vision Quest then spam Zombie Charger with the Explosive Beast Rune, plant your Grasp carefully, stay healthy with Harvest and make sure to have 4 cool downs constantly running.

This build places a HUGE emphasis on proc on hit effects, such as: life on hit, stun, freeze, etc.

Your pets’ auras, Burning Dogs and Big Stinker, will proc the on hit effects quite often. With enough % on hit gear, you will be able to permanently stun mobs that aren’t immune.

This build is for inferno. It’s pretty self explanatory, Grasp of the dead followed by Dire Bats, use your spirit walk first to get out of trouble, if you still have agro use your horrify. Spam Poison Dart. If you run into an elite mob, hit your Big Bad Voodoo and spam them Dire bats. And KITE!

This is a build to balance offense and defense. While dodge is around 60+% the OWE talent allows for stacking of single resist for max return, and BoH’s dmg boost with Blinding Flash’s dmg boost allow for staying power without too much sacrifice in DPS

This is the build i have been running on inferno acts 1 and 2. Its a mana friendly burst and damage over time spec… you can pick whichever damage spells you want really, but keep the hex jinx spell active at all time (the party will love you when it comes to the elites it keeps them under control)

Spam darts while your two DoT spells destroy them (Locust Swarm+Grasp). Soul Harvest is a consistent damage buff/multi-target. Big Bad Voodoo will work great with Fetish Army to provide huge damage output every 20 seconds/90 seconds (passive). Four cooldown skills for mana regen from Vision Quest.

This build focuses on poison damage. The 3 main attacking abilities all deal poison damage and leave clouds of poison behind. Rotation is like this, Soul Harvest, throw Locust Swarm, then Zombie Charger them to death. Spider Queen and Gargantuan tank and deal more poison damage.

You use Mass Confusion to make enemies clump together then let loose your Acid Cloud, Locust Swarm, Zombie Charger, and Gargantuan. When your Mana is down, use the toads which have no Mana Cost or Cooldown allowing you to spam them until you can use your more powerful attacks again.

Mana efficient build for group play. Focus on single target burst. I swap haunt for frog rain to fit my play style and group makeup when i need more aoe.

Based heavily on Vision quest you keep pretty much everything on CD so that way you have full mana to spam Spirit Barrage changing out the rune depending on aoe or single target.

This build is all about keeping that red globe full. With spirit walk to escape the fray and soul harvest to replenishes ridiculous amounts of life. Every skill will add life or mana pretty much leaving you un-killable…in theory.

Long ranged, constant DPS that has no mana problems if you hit every single ability.
You can change Firebomb if you want for another AoE ability. It has the highest damage AoE wise, if you can get enough fire balls to bounce, perfect for hell/inferno.

This build is without pets and it workes good.
It is simpel ceep your skills on CD to get mana reg and Spam your BigBad Bats.
I switch sometimes bigbad voodoo to heal and the ghost walk to reg mana simply because if you play with 4 people its better to have this big Team heal than mana reg.

Build 1> Cast Fetish Army, Big Bad Voodoo, Wall if needed. Stay close to wall and in BBV. Cast Bears till everything dies. If things go bad use Jaunt and retry. CD on BBV and FA should be around 55 sec or so. Snake to the Face will work wonders kiting with the stun. the main idea is use FA to keep things busy and wall up if they are doing poorly. I have used this build through hell and has worked fairly well. The key is, like any other WD builds really, is to move in and out, kite and control.

Build 2> Keep Gargantuan up, always. Use swarm, barrage x3, then acid rain to finish for big damage. Spirit walk for escape or for quick mana recovery. If zombie doesn’t have most of the aggro then only use barrage on the demons around the gargantuan, and swarm on largest group then acid rain anything coming your way.

Use Vision Quest through 4 Spells on cooldown. Spam your zombie bears and reduce the enemies dmg output by having bad medicine. Your own dmg output is massively increased by soul harvest which also heals you for a max of over 10k hp. Every kill around you minimizes the time for your cooldown spells.

The idea was to have as many zombie dogs as one could possible imagine, only to make them explode in the faces of the enemy hordes. To kill of tougher enemies, we have the gargantuan and dire bats.

This build aims to give the feel of an ol’ school WoW Lock. Damage dealing is done by Dots, it has fear, mana cost paid by health, but also health regen. And ofcourse a handy tanking pet in the form of the Gargantuan.

Focus on cooldown-less fighting. Build aims to do as much Poison damage as possible and therefore passive will lower damage output of enemies by 20% whenever they will get hit by poison abilities. This build probably won’t work if the Fetish Sycophants doesn’t proc with DoT skills.

Unsure if basic attacks need to be on the hotbar yet. This playstyle revolves around SprtWalk.

Huge buffs to Leaping Spiders (huge boss killer), and Direbats (to AoE down groups). Battlefield control through pets and Grasp. Healing through Zombie dog rune and Spirit Walk.

Keep the Dogs and Gargantuan on at all times. SPAM THOSE BEARS as your main skill, with the pile as your secondary attack against uniques and bosses. Always leave at least 36 Mana on hold for Soul Harvest, or if needed be blow up the dogs.
