Its not my build, i found it on blizz forums, couldn’t find the thread so i decided to post this build.
I play this build 1h + Shield to maximize defense. Instead mantra of healing u can use mantra of evasion with 20% armor bonus. This build works fine with DW, 2h and 1h+ Shield.

This is a true support build. I chose all the healing skills with the addition of the Thunderclap rune attached to the Fists of Thunder – reason being I can teleport when attacking to stick close to the group and throwdown inner sanctum whem needed.

AOE Mainly, But makes you almost unbeatable in a Boss fight. Spirit regen is you main focus, Sweeping Wind is your constant damage, Crippling Strike to slow the enemy, and Dashing Strike to zip you into and out of Trouble. Wait for a boss to swing at you and dance behind him.

This build will keep you alive and generate a good amount of spirit for DPS output. The drawback is the lack of CC. It’s comes down to how you like to play.

Stop packs in their tracks and protect weaker high DPS players. Use two weapons, with a per hit HP bonus. Run into a group using sweeping wind, sanctuary, cyclone strike and then lashing tail. Keep attacking and using cyclone strike then lashing tail, wait for inner to cool down and repeat.

This build is a dodge build with resistance. It’s just a build I came up with in Hell difficulty and it’s working for me right now. stacking one resistance and using the passive. If you have “All Resistance” gear, then use another dodge or armor passive.

Although I use different variations to this, this is a basic setup for when I’m tanking in a group.

AoE build that pulls everyone in and kills them. Fist of Thunder is used to close gaps and Crippling Wave after you pulled everyone to you.

I use some variations of this and depending on the difficulty or gear you may need to switch to some more defensive passive and runes.

This is one of the most used build. 1H + shield is recommended but not necessary. Stack only 1 kind of resist for max. effiency through One With Everything. You can swap Mantra of Evasion for Mantra of Healing with +20% resist buff, but for me works Evasion better.

Use CS every 3-5 seconds to increase dodge. Drop IS for extra healing for melee or to protect the ranged. When spirit is low, BoH and use CW, spirit will regen quickly. Serenity if health is low, or stuck in a bad spot.

Dodge and resists. The pet keeps aggro off teammates by taunting as well as distracting mobs so you dont take as much damage as it gives you 10% more life. I chose the blinding flash over inner sanctuary because with large groups of mobs and elites, the blind works wonders.

I’ve used it through act 2 inferno and it works great.
You do need high attack speed and to kill elites before enrage you need at least 20-25k dmg.

The standard monk build. Just got to inferno? This build will allow you to stay alive from Act1-Act4 or from mp0-mp10. This build does not ‘crit. for 1 million’, more like ‘it crits 1 million times’. The build focuses on your ability to srvive while you do smaller but quicker damage to enemies.

The build is simple: spend lots of Spirit to recover lots of health. This is done through Transcendence (Every point of Spirit spent heals your for 118.6 Life), quick generators, and some big spenders.

Stay on target with FoT while cutting their damage by a quarter with Resolve. Set up a nuke with all the other glorious skills. Would preferably use Gear that increases stun time on Lashing Tail.

Use the skills in the order I put them and you should be good to go. If you’re in trouble you can attempt a stunlock with Lashing Tail to heal up with Transcendence. I chose FoT for Spirit, because it has the fastest Attack Speed and gives the most of them for Critical Hits.
