Hands down Demon Hunter. I was a Rogue in D1 and Amazon in D2. Swords and magic are nice, but give me a bow and arrow any day. @krystalhime
My first time through I'm going female Monk until I dominate Inferno difficulty with him. After that I'll switch between building up a good Wizard and Barbarian for some variety. I've spent a lot of time playing the beta and I definitely had the most fun with the Monk. The different martial arts styles mixed with the abilities of the runes, quite the unstoppable force. Only 24 hours left til launch, I'm way stoked
@GiantGuineaPig - I'm going with Warrior. I want to use the biggest, heaviest, pointiest weapon possible, along with armour that a family of 5 could live in.
Barbarian, because tanking is the role that I prefer in role playing games, no matter in wow or diablo.
@edsoad - As a kid I was pretty stocky. One time me and my friend were coming home from the beach with a really nice piece of driftwood, from memory we were going to use it as a pretend bazooka or something... I can't really remember but I was excited, I know that. A couple of days later when we were playing with it, this guy a year older than us came over and wanted to play with us, we said "yeah" and he decided that he was going to be our commander, showing us the direction of all the invisible bad guys around our house. After about 15 minutes of playing with this guy he picked up the driftwood and decided it was his to take and he began to run on home. Naturally me and my friend chased him down the street. He was about halfway to his house when he turned around and faced us, with this fat piece of driftwood ready to swing. My friend walked towards him with his hand out asking for it back but the little **** from next door swung at him and clipped the top of his right kneecap which put my friend rolling on the ground in pain. For some odd reason I decided that I could take this guy, so I walked towards him asking for it back. He said no and decided it would be a good idea to hit me with the driftwood, so as he swung back I took one more step forward and readied myself for the driftwood to leave me with the same fate as my friend. Surprisingly though, the little ****'s swing was piss weak. The wood glanced off my leg and fell out of his hands. I picked it up and threatened to break his face with it if he didn't leave. As he was running away he said: "You're a fucking barbarian, man." I smiled, turned to my friend and said as I was helping him up "Yes... Yes I am." And then of course when we got our hands on Diablo II, I was the Barb and he was the Necro. AAAAANNND That is why I'm playing as the Barb on Diablo III
i'm gonna play a wizard. he's got awesome AOE skills and can manipulate time & space. i don't like 2 kill a singe target but kill 'em all with wizard's abilities. no1 gonna stand in my way. @sstrelnikoff

@aupolk Playing Demon Hunter. My 2 longest played characters in D2 were Amazon and Assassin. Demon Hunter seems a happy marriage of these classes and will slot in well with my siblings who are going Barbarian and Wizard. The question is, to play Male or Female? I'm a man but I am used to playing a chick in Diablo, and the lady Demon Hunter has a sexy voice. Plus who doesn't want to watch a sexy lady do flips for a few hundred hours?

@Caviels Im gonna roll Barbarian, I have always played the big bad melee char i all MMO games. I love the feeling of leading a group into battle with the responsibility as a tank. If you have no tank then you will have no glory on the battlefield. I'm aiming to be the greatest and so does my team. And my roll is going to be to lead them to glory with my BARBARIAN! Monk, monk, monk. Female monk. All my characters are females. I obsessed with females. I possessed with succubus. Emmm... offtopic. Anyway, female monk. First, when I saw few Diablo 3 gameplay movies, I was like: oh, Barb, you're so awesome! But then I played open beta and I found monk the most balanced (at the beta at least ofc) and fun class. And I will play with friends, which means support class would be great for the party. Aaaand I think monk has biggest chances to make it through Inferno. That's the story. I think im gonna go for the Witch Doctor, reasoning behind this is because my main char on 2 was a barbarian but as soon as the diablo 2 expansion came out I fell in love with the druid! Unfortunatly diablo3 has (not yet) have a druid (maybe in an expansion aswell?^^) But the witch doctor is nearly the same style with summonings and such, on the beta i found that there wasnt much u could discover on the Witch doctor yet :< But what I saw im sure i'll like it! @Ricauw - Twitter
I intend to go Barbarian to tank everything, plus big weapons. My dad intends witch doctor for confusion, Horrify, pets and blowing pets up
I plan on being a wizardress, I've always enjoyed playing magical characters. I'll definitely give the new classes a try as well, but magic is my forte'
Hi i think im going to be the witch doctor because i really loved the necro but he looks a lot better the way he can summon things at his demand and the vast power that lies in his diseases and curses the witch doctor is an elite character by my opinion i also like the idea of him not just fighting with physical power like the barbarian he can take out enemies from a safe distance and corrupt the minds of enemies to make them flee or even fight each other but one of the witch doctors weakness's is that when his mana is drained out he dosen't have the capability to wield heavy strong weapons there for in a melee situation the witch doctors master skills and amazing powers are gone meaning that he is an easy target but not for long as his mana replenishes he can use one of his mighty magical skills to take down enimies he is an amazing character by my opinion thanks twitter @alextaylor999
