Here is my PvE build. With enough tweaking, it might even be acceptable in PvP situations because of all the mobility and burst damage. I'm super excited for diablo 3 to expand to its full width, and this is definitely the build that I'll be using when I make my first barb. The main focus of this build is focusing on buffing up then letting the melee attacks take control from there. The main focus is to get frenzy to land critical hits and do massive sustained single target DPS. Also, the AoE damage is fairly acceptable. You'll see why:

First, frenzy is the main attack with the increased damage. Because this is a single target DPS ability, I have incorporated whirlwind with the increased movement speed buff as a means of mobility (and, it conveniently does damage).

Second, furious charge is a means of burst fury generation and mobility. I can't seem to get enough of mobility in MMOs and I think it is one of the most important aspects in a game, increasing the versatility of your hero. The rune will compound nicely with Wrath of the Berserker.

Third, Battle Rage increases our attack power and chance to crit. The rune offers additional rage when the barb crits, so it combos nicely with Wrath of the Berserker as well. So, essentially: more damage and crit.

Fourth, Whirlwind is our main mobility skill. The rune increases the movement speed of the barb while in motion, so it allows to get to your destination effectively and quickly. While using Frenzy, I want to be able to get to my target efficiently without having to run around creeps.

Overpower is the Fifth power house ability. The rune offers a HUGE crit bonus after using it, and with the increased attack speed from frenzy and Wrath of the Berserker, you are bound to land a crit or two in the 4.5 second window. This means Overpower uptime is very efficient and will be your second AoE ability. Whirlwind will allow you to place your barb in the optimal position within the crowd of creeps you're trying to overpower.

Finally, the bread and butter of the build. Wrath of the Berserker. It tops off the buffs your barb will be recieving. Crit chance, damage, movement speed, and attack speed. You'll be moving around so fast and attacking so quickly that squirrels won't even be able to catch up to you. The rune that I chose for this ability is over important. The idea of this ability is to keep it up for the full cooldown duration. I understand that 120 seconds is a hard target to keep Wrath of the Berserker up for, but I'm guessing we might be able to keep it up for 30-45 seconds during moderate creep groups, and 40-50 seconds during large creep groups. Again, whirlwind will help you get to multiple creeps quickly and allow your fury to keep generating. I'm assuming that crits will generate more fury than basic damage, so there no reason you should be fury starved.

Lastly, the passives are very self-explanitory. I picked the +5% crit passive, the passive that grants crit chance while holding maces or axes, and the fury generation passive. This means you will almost have as much fury as you want and be able to use whirlwind ad nauseam.

See anything you would like to change? Let me know, I'm very open to suggestions.
