Face2Game

Diablo3Builds.com has teamed up with Face2Game to bring you the best in Diablo 3 online streaming. Face2Game is a non-scripted, interactive show packed full of Diablo 3 goodness with extras such as prizes and giveaways!

To celebrate our partnership with Face2Game, we took a moment to sit down with the hosts – Nebe and JohnsonPig and ask them about their gaming history, what they’re looking forward to in Diablo 3 and what they have planned for the upcoming bi-weekly show.

D3B: We’re really looking forward to the partnership, why don’t you tell our audience a bit more about yourselves and your gaming history.

Nebe: I was a Nintendo kid! I’m sure I can dig out a picture of me running around in my v-fronts with the “Duck Hunt” gun, but lets save that for another day however! I then moved onto online games – my first being “Legend Of Mir”, a Diablo style point and click game. It was fantastic as I remember thinking to myself “how is this other person in the same game screen as me when we are not in the same house, this is amazing!”

I was instantly addicted to online games. I have a pretty extensive back log of online MMOs that I have played. I spent most of my time however playing “World Of Warcraft”. I have been in the top end raiding environment in the guild “Our Sick Story” but these days I’m far more of a casual player, popping on if I get bored to do some battlegrounds. I’m also a huge RTS fan! I played Warcraft 3 & TFT pretty solidly until the release of World Of Warcraft.

On a casual level, I also enjoy DoTa style games be it the classic WC3 map or League Of Legends. Now I find myself at the center of an exciting new game by Blizzard, you might know the one, they told me “Evil Is Back” so I showed up to deal with it.

JohnsonPig: My name is Alistair aka JohnsonPig, I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember. I started off playing Amiga games like Heroquest, Command & Conquer and Cannon Fodder. I love N64 games, including all the classics like Zelda. I’ve been playing a lot of Xbox but recently bought a brand new gaming PC and I’m loving it!

D3B: Sounds like you both have a pretty solid gaming history there. We’re all looking forward to Diablo 3 but what features of it are you looking forward to the most?

Nebe: I have to say I’m excited to see how the the Auction House looks once the game is released and see what happens to economies! I already have a t-shirt made “Diablo III Made Me A Millionaire.” I’m also looking forward to the skill runes system, how you build your class for certain situations is also interesting and shall be good to see what types of builds people come up with here at Diablo 3 Builds.

JohnsonPig: The features I’m looking forward to the most with Diablo 3 is the loot system. Although not dramatically different to the earlier games, loot is the reason I love these games! Also, the new skill runes system means that it’s going to be possible to create completely individual builds. I also love the RPG elements of the game.

D3B: A lot of people are looking forward to the AH in D3 given the one in WoW became a game itself. Turning to the classes in Diablo 3, which one are you looking forward to and why?

Nebe: From when I saw the trailer for the Demon Hunter, I was sold big time! However I have played all of the classes in the beta and enjoyed them, all are very unique and fun. Long term I will level all of them but on release it shall be the Demon Hunter! Crow pets for the win! It appeals to me as I have always played ranged classes before as I enjoy them the most and I also like the character model.

JohnsonPig: The class I’m going to start with first is the Barbarian. He has to be the most classic character, tooled up with a huge double handed axe and going to work on some demons. Wading into huge swathes of Fallen and coming out on top; awesome!

D3B: The DH is certainly popular, only second to the Barbarian. Getting back to your show, why should Diablo fans check you out and what can we expect from your show in the coming months?

Nebe: We have a number of fantastic events coming up and being apart of the Diablo3builds.com commentary is exciting! Here are some highlights:

  • Release event 24 hour HD stream with o’clock build up! Plus giveaways!(More details in the coming weeks). We will be inviting gamers to play along side us through-out the stream event so be sure to join us!
  • Strict show schedule Mondays/Thursdays
  • The top end content of D3 streamed in full HD
  • Duel Commentary from myself “Nebe” & “JohnsonPig”

D3B: That sounds pretty awesome and we’re really happy to be supporting your show, we know it’s something fans of Diablo will want to watch and we’re looking forward to it as well.
