Combines Ballistics rocket skills with a Rapid Fire / Marked for Death combo. Mortal Enemy generates 3 hatred for each attack, and Rapid Fire shoots quickly. Put down a Turret, Caltrops, get max hatred and then Rapid Fire until you’re empty (or Cluster Arrow for big packs).

Use Multishot to AOE and generate discipline, and use Preparation to generate hatred. Back and forth until everything is dead. All other skills are optional, but I took Impale for single target damage, Bat for extra hatred gen, and Valley to boost Multishot dmg.

Balances sustainable high damage single target and aoe skills while maintaining mobility synergy for near infinite vaults.

Exclusive use of low level skills (everything but vaults rune unlocked by level 27) and runes meaning make this build a strong contender for those entering nightmare mode.

An attempt to try to tank with DH. Use Fan of Knives when it’s up, Spike Trap when it’s not, and Caltrops in between to keep Numbing Traps debuff up. Guardian Turret for DR boost. Chakram for free close range AOE damage. Make sure to use a one-handed crossbow with a shield!

A Critical hits build mainly for PVE.

Use Rapid Fire as much as possible, Multishot and Vault when getting swarmed. Preparation recharges Hatred for more Rapid Fire =) Marked for Death for Bosses/Champions/Rares. May switch out Hungering Arrow for something different.

Entangling Shot/Chain Gang and Fan of Knives/Hail of Knives to provide AOE snares to make use of Cull the Weak. Vault/Tumble to keep distance for Steady Aim. Hungering Arrow/Scatter Shot and Multishot/Full Broadside should work relatively well in both AOE and single-target situations.

Only uses two damaging attacks, with 2 Skills to increase the damage of the attacks, and 2 skills to keep you alive. Passives help damage as well. Note that Rapid fire, when paired with Mark of Death, will almost come out even for Hatred spent. Can see this surviving Inferno.

Sorta played off the AoE DPS build. Entangling Shot and Fan of Knives for slowing + Cull of the Weak, Vault + Tumble to gain distance after slowing (supplied by Bola Shot + Bitter Pill), Passive Archery & Sharpshooter for Elemental Arrow’s Lightning Bolts. Rapid Fire + Witering Fire.

Load up on critical hit as much as you can and use 500% damage Impales to decimate things. Extra discipline from criticals can be dumped into Punishment for more hatred (9+ Impales in a row!). Huge single target damage.

Achieve highest possible hatred regeneration from skills and passives. Archery passive is interchangeable with other passives. Certain runes are interchangeable except for grenade and companion. Caltrops can be substituted for shadow power. Rapid Fire or Cluster 4 hate dump and grenade 4 generation.

This is my first attempt to Build a DH. Wanted to be a ranged character in which most of the attention would be done by my follower. And I’ll be in a distance pinging them off. Let me know how it looks to you and I’ll take suggestions.

This build focuses on gaining the bonus of Steady Aim at all times. By increasing movement speed and efficiently using Discipline, you can always maintain damage distance. Gear will improve Discipline regeneration and damage.

for this pve build you will want to keep far away from your opponents. To help you do that you have entangling shot (chain gang), evasive fire (displace) and a companion! for the offensive side of the rocket master we have cluster arrow (shooting stars) and sentry (spit fire turret).

Focuses on dealing as many critical hits as possible, utilizing rapid fire and strafe. Lots of hatred regeneration. keeps the damage flowing.

Has a decent amount of item dependency (+crit Damage % and +crit chance %), but can be incredibly effective given the correct set of items.

The idea is to exploit crit damage bonuses from Impale and Strafe. The latter will serve as a good way to replenish discipline via numerous crits and Nightstalker passive. Bait the Trap was not included because it requires positioning and hampers mobility, making Steady Aim difficult to maintain.

Combines passives Steady Aim with Cull the Weak. Keep everything slowed and at a distance and enjoy +50% damage. Great thing about this build is you can start using the core concept at level 20!

This build gains hatred by the bat companion. 4 spells fire rockets to make use of the ballistics passive. All discipline goes to the rocket turrets. Shuriken cloud makes some short range dmg if you cant get fast enough away. SS and Archery makes you very powerful vs bosses.

Additionally, Switch Damage abilities to Lightning/Fire runes(entangling, vault>evasive fire) for higher difficulties & resistant monsters.

Combine Strafe, Crit, Sentry, and Shadow Power for deadly effectiveness. Mark the boss, drop Sentry, Caltrops, use Shadowpower and hit Prep. Sentry deals a lot with chain (based on your aps?) Shadow Power should keep half up time (One use per 6 seconds) Crits feed your Disc, Caltrops constant. Combine a few good synergies to attain 50% up time Shadow Power, constant Caltrops, and constant Strafe. Chain Laser (Based on your APS?) for more damage. High crit build. High damage, Slow, Life Steal and 65% reduced damage all while spinning around your turret. Boss killer set up.

This is a good all around build for mowing down lots of enemies, single target dps for bosses and rares, and good utility for surivival.

Non stop Strafe for single target and Cluster Arrow. All discipline is funneled into mass hatred through Preparation paired with Vengeance. Vault is free as to not conflict with Preparation and the cooldown is manageable thanks to Strafe’s mobility.

A melee-oriented DH build that uses Shuriken Cloud and Retaliation for auto-damage and Impale+Awareness for constant AoE burst. Numbing Traps reduces enemy damage, while Sentry and Shadow Power fortify your defenses. Bat Companion is used to help offset the lack of Hatred generator.

A Ballistics build that sacrifices tricks and demobilizing effects in exchange for high, sustainable dps. Ideal for a 4 player group setting; not solo compatible!

The idea of this build is to keep all enemies snared or slowed, drop a sentry, and run circles around groups. The tether to sentry provides damage, as does the sentry itself, and the companion. Meanwhile fan of knives can be spammed. Cull of the weak = great boost since baddies are always slowed.

Start with a Mark of Death, then Entangling Shot is your main ability, with rapid shot as a nuke/spender. If someone gets close, Fan of Knives to blow them up and stun them, then Evasive Fire to get away…rinse and repeat. Shadow Power when you can/have to.

This is a solo Demon Hunter PvE build meant for inferno. This build is all about keeping your enemies far away from you.

Solo Rocket build. Minimises hatred generation time by maximising hatred generation from grenades. Low movement build, with sentry dropping. Survival ability is smoke screen so you can stay near sentries and regen hatred. Use high damage weapon as rockets fire according to time and not weapon speed.

Increase your critical chance by standing on Caltrops, and restore faster you Discipline with Preparation and Night Stalker, to be able to escape from dangerous situation with Vault a lot more.

This build is about locking an area down using Discipline. Discipline regeneration is plentiful between Bola Shot’s rune, Multishot’s rune, and Caltrops’ rune combined with Night Stalker.

This build is meant to played used as a form of perma-cc, as well as dishing out constant damage via strafe. Make’s it easy for your tanks to peel and your nukes to land their abilities.
